I recently "liked" a cause on facebook, called "Ganbatte Nippon - You Can Do It Japan." I found them through a post on one of the sites i follow on my google reader. To send the country a smile and encouragement, they started printing out a picture of Ultraman carrying the Japanese flag and gave it to people to photograph with. Shots vary from tourists to natives, adults and children alike, taken in Tokyo to give hope to a devastated country, even if it isn't much it's something.
I just saw a man cry helplessly as he tried to explain to news reporters that his wife and two sons are nowhere to be found. You can tell he was trying to be strong...but his spirit is so crushed. This is for him, it may never reach him...but sir, I'm praying for you...that you may have the strength to get through this.
For you Japan...You can do it.
